The Björnstrxng Personal Training programme has changed my life. Joe is so knowledgeable that the results are almost immediate. Since a shoulder procedure, I’ve been working with Joe on a tailored rehabilitation programme. I knew I had to get back to exercising and after hearing about so many success stories, I took the first step and have never looked back. Joe’s professional knowledge is proven and excellent. He’s created a safe and fun environment within the Björnstrxng Gym that supports accountability and improves not only the physical aspect of training, but mental strength too. I’d highly recommend Joe and Björnstrxng.
Getting back into training after pregnancy was daunting, and Joe has been a great support with this. Not only have I improved my fitness and strength, but he has also provided great nutritional support. Joe's dedication to his clients shines through in his passion for fitness. He is a powerful motivator and knows how to get the best out of me. In six months I have lost four kilos and built up my strength to enable me to reach a PB of 125 kilos for five reps on the Trap Bar Deadlift! Something I never would have dreamt could be possible for me to achieve.
Thanks for the support and help Joe has provided with my rehab after an operation to my knee in October. I didn't appreciate how tough the recovery would be. Joe has designed my PT programme to compliment the exercises recommended by my physio and has continually encouraged me to challenge myself with exercises in order to get the strength back in my leg, whilst also improving my strength and mindset generally. If you want to improve your strength and fitness with a friendly, knowledgeable instructor, then I would highly recommend speaking to Joe at Björnstrxng.
I retired from the Military in December 2022, so had always maintained a reasonable standard of fitness. A couple of good friends started training with Björnstrxng and all their feedback was positive, based on this I joined in July 2023. The initial joining process was straightforward and allowed Joe to set out a clear nutrition and diet plan to help my strength, conditioning and weight loss goals. Since the start I have not looked back. Joe provides clear instruction on posture and form when exercising and most importantly delivers motivation and advice in spades. I complete three sessions a week and look forward to each of them, why wouldn’t I? I get to train with friends and improve my physical fitness and mental wellbeing. I cannot recommend Joe enough, no matter what your level of fitness.
Having signed up to a few gyms over the years and never actually going, this was a major leap of faith for me in trying out Joe and his gym. I needn’t have worried. My initial plan was to do a few Personal Training sessions and a bit of Circuit Training and see where we went from there. Over a year later I am still there and hooked. Joe is an excellent coach, knows what I need, and drives me forwards in all aspects of staying fit and healthy, including helping me with my nutrition which has always been a bit of an issue for me. Joe listened to my needs then and continues to do so. If you fear the gym, especially the fact everyone is looking at you, but want to get fitter and healthier, Joe is the man for you. It’s hard work but 'no pain no gain'. The camaraderie with other Members is amazing and everyone encourages each other.
Attending sessions with Joe has been the best decision I have ever made. I was extremely anxious about any form of exercise and the thought of the gym made me so nervous. Joe has helped me break down those barriers, and I am getting stronger every session. I never thought I would be lifting weights over 100 kilos, and I have even dropped two dress sizes in the process. Joe knew my potential before I did, and I have gained so much confidence in my strength and ability with exercise. I cannot thank Joe enough for everything so far and can't wait to see how far I can go!
Brilliant personal trainer and a great guy. Follow the guidance, put in one hundred percent, and enjoy the results! My intention was a simple kick-start into losing a few kilos. A few months in and I’m 10 kilos down and a whole lot stronger, fitter, and happier. Joe’s positive approach has pushed me well beyond what I thought was possible, unleashing an unexpected enjoyment in training - I love it! I have been working with Joe at Björnstrxng for about a year now. I realised when getting to 65 that I needed more muscle strength to give me a healthier future. The weights I’m able to lift now are unbelievable. I do a lot of gardening and I can shift bags of gravel and paving slabs with ease. I have eaten a healthy diet all year and been able to increase my calories slightly. The training I’ve been getting has seen me get more lean. My waist is down two inches and my legs are slimmer. The best thing is that my old lady arms are vastly slimmer with more muscle and the bat wings are almost gone. Thank you Björnstrxng.
My Björnstrxng journey has been the most transformative of my life. From starting as unfit, overweight and undisciplined, I'm so glad for the progress I've made, with the help of Joe, who is always inspiring me to go one step further. Partly due to the confidence he has instilled in me, I am taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon in April for Pancreatic Cancer UK, in memory of my grandad, who sadly lost his battle to the horrible disease. I'm grateful for the help of Joe who has kept me on the right track with my adapted marathon specific training, and I'm looking forward to raising as much money as I can and smashing the London Marathon!
Every Personal Training session is something different, and they are always enjoyable. I'm over the moon with the training that I'm doing. I feel ten times fitter than I did before I started, and I feel one hundred times stronger. I also feel more confident, and a lot mentally stronger. I'm pushing myself and getting pushed to limits I have never been to. I would have just given up before, but now I'm 10 kilos down in three months and loving the results.
When I first started at the gym, I was underweight and unfit. I hadn’t spent much time in a gym and my form was not so great. Nine months down the line I feel much more confident, and I enjoy my weekly session. I now also understand nutrition much better which has contributed to my weight gain. Joe is very understanding and an excellent coach. He takes sessions at your own pace and is very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend.
I can't recommend Björnstrxng enough! Joe is an amazing coach who gives nothing but encouragement. From having Solo sessions to group sessions, there is nothing but consistency in the support and motivation that comes from Joe. He tailors everything to suit the various abilities in our training crew, and he pushes me to get the most out of each session. I’ve been doing group training sessions at Björnstrxng for a few months now. They are short and sharp and a lot of fun! Joe uses competition to encourage us as well as working together to egg each other on. I feel stronger and more energised after each session. Joe takes time and care to think of different exercises and sequences for each session and ensures we maintain good form as well as pushing us to our edge.
I cannot recommend Björnstrxng more highly. I have been a member of many gyms in the past and always felt self conscious and a little unsure of what to do, not with Joe at Björnstrxng. Joe knows his stuff and motivates with a huge amount of respect. My fitness and strength has improved dramatically along with my awareness of diet and I’m having fun while doing it!
Joe's group Personal Training sessions are fast, furious, and fun! He's so supportive and cares about his clients, tailoring sessions and programmes to suit all abilities and motivating them to reach full potential. I return to work in the afternoons feeling positive and energised, and I'm always looking forward to the next session. Five stars!
Going to the Personal Training sessions that Joe provides has been one of the best decisions I've made. Not only are they easy to fit into my day, but he also makes the sessions enjoyable with tonnes of motivation and competition. Doing these sessions, paired with the Online Coaching, my endurance and overall fitness has really improved. Would definitely recommend!
Joe's training style is kind, patient, understanding, but supportive and motivating at the same time. He is passionate about exercise and that shows. The gym has wonderful, comprehensive equipment, and is in a lovely location. I would highly recommend Personal Training sessions with him!
Solo training has been really good with Joe and sessions get better and more intense every week so the progress never stops. My programme has been tailored to suit my injuries which puts my mind at ease, and the Featured Feats is a great way to push yourself and bring that competitive side out. Even though my diet isn't great, Joe keeps persisting with me every week on how to improve. He doesn't give in and I'm finally starting to keep on top of my calorie counting and starting to hit my goals. It's crazy what a difference someone telling you 'you've got this' every week makes.
Before starting training, I didn't like the look of my body, I wasn't looking after my body, was eating junk food constantly, and was a full-time smoker, but training with Joe at Björnstrxng has unquestionably improved my health and fitness. I'm six kilos down and the results so far have encouraged me to quit smoking out completely, and I can't wait to see where this takes me. Joe is a brilliant trainer. He’s motivational and knows exactly how to get you to achieve your best. He is focused on form above everything else which is what so many trainers lack. I always enjoy my sessions.
